  3. Main interests in research

  Mainly engaged in fruit genetics breeding and pomology, mainly including peach genetics breeding; apple rootstock evaluating and cultivation system optimizing; flower induction, viruses detecting and breeding of apple nursery; orchard light situation evaluation and high optical efficiency tree architecture selection.

  4.Awards

  As the principal achievement person, he has bred 11 new varieties of peach and nectarine approved by Shanxi Province Seed Approving Committee, including "Zao huang guan", "xin hong zao pan tao", "Qin mi", "Qin guang", "Qin wang", "Qin guang NO. 2", "Qin jie", "Red star", "Qin guang NO. 4", "Qin guang NO. 6", "Qin guang NO. 8". He has won 13 items of prizes above provincial level.
